Mighty Westfjords Elopement
A Three Day Elopement in the Untamed Westfjords of Iceland
Matthias, our experience designer, spent months in this region during his Master’s in Environmental Conservation at Háskóli Íslands, researching Arctic foxes in Hornstrandir. He hiked through untouched valleys, watched foxes move through the silence and learned what true remoteness feels like. This place changed him and he still speaks about it with real intensity.
That is why we bring couples here.
This three day journey takes you to the edges of Iceland where the roads end and Arctic foxes roam protected and free. We begin in Snæfellsnes. From there, we take the ferry into the heart of the Westfjords, stand before Dynjandi, the jewel of the region, explore red sand beaches and watch puffins at Iceland’s largest sea cliff. On the final day, we travel by boat into the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve to experience a level of wildness and stillness that very few people will ever encounter.
South Coast Beauty Elopement
A 2–3 Day Day South Coast Elopement Beyond the Crowds
We discovered this part of Iceland and fell deeply in love with it during a journey in our campervan, one we drove all the way from Romania. The South Coast is famous for a reason. But we don’t come here for the crowds. We come for the quiet. For the untouched.
As we drive past waterfalls and black sand shores, the world grows calmer with every mile. Until it is just you, each other and the land stretching endlessly around you.
Over two to three days, we move toward Stokksnes and the East Coast, stopping at hidden cliffs, quiet glacier lagoons and places so still you can actually hear the ice. Waterfalls without ropes. Black sand beaches without footprints.

We’ve flown this exact route ourselves and it is beyond exciting. We soar over Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord), home to our beloved cabin, then pass Glymur waterfall, one of Iceland’s highest and most spectacular cascades, and continue toward Þórisjökull glacier with mountains and ice stretching as far as the eye can see. On the way back, we fly above the 9000 year old shield volcano Skjaldbreiður and Þingvellir’s continental rift, where the earth itself slowly pulls apart.

Do you offer videography services?
Our packages include multiple, individual short clips. A longer highlight video of your elopement can be added to your full day elopement package.
Can we get legally married in Iceland?
Yes! Most couples just need a passport, birth certificate and a certificate of marital status. Gather these documents 4–6 weeks before your elopement and submit them to the Icelandic District Commissioner (Don't worry, you're not alone. We're here to guide you through the process). Once approved, your marriage is legal in Iceland.

Do we need a wedding planner?
Not necessarily! We collaborate with a travel agency and a trusted helicopter company, ensuring that every detail of your elopement is seamlessly handled. We are connected with the most talented vendors such as officiants, makeup and flowers so you don't have to search endlessly.
What happens if the weather turns wild?
Believe me, you probably haven't experienced WILD weather if you haven't been to Iceland before! Iceland’s weather moves fast. One moment sunlight, next dramatic clouds and wind. That’s what makes it so cinematic. We adapt in real time. If conditions turn unsafe, we adjust the plan, switch locations or reschedule. Trust us, those stormy moments can turn into a really fun experience! They definitely make great memories.
How far in advance should we book an elopement photographer in Iceland?
Most photographers book 6–12 months in advance, especially for summer dates or exclusive experiences like helicopter flights. Based on availability we can take dates up to one month before your elopement.
Do you hike?
Yes. If the best view means climbing higher, trekking further or crossing rivers, we’re in. Prefer something easy-access? We know stunning spots that don’t require a hike.
